About Us.

Punjab Government established this college on Inter level in 01-09-1999 on the request of local residents and District Government. It started its working in the borrowed building of Civil Hospital Khairpur Tamewali. By the Grace of Allah Almighty and with the untiring efforts of the principal and the teaching & the administrative staff, the college has acquired the status of Graduate College and now it has its own building panning over 97 canals, having fourteen classrooms, five laboratories, multi-purpose hall, library block, canteen, administrative block and residential block for the staff.

Principal’s Message

I warmly welcome the students, who are going to take admission in The Govt. Graduate College for Women Khairpur Tamewali. The Govt. Graduate College for Women Khaipur Tamewali, has the distinction to be declared as Graduate College which would prove extremely beneficial for the girls of this peripheral region. We assure that the admission in this college would prove a turning point in Students’ career as the purpose of the institutions is not limited to a degree producing institution but expanded to be an institution that would play its role in their personality development and character building. The education and learning of the students are not limited to classrooms only; rather this institution also provides equal curricular and extra-curricular opportunities in a female friendly environment. In this way, the women can become citizens with high moral, elevated character and contribute positively for the country.
We are determined to provide the best and latest educational programmes. For this purpose, ADP, 2-years Associate Degree Programme (ADP) and BS in English have been started.
